Pupils at The Christian School in Takeley are celebrating an "amazing" success at the Junior Maths Challenge.
Year 6 pupils - who were entering for the first time - achieved a bronze and a gold medal, while Year 8 pupils were awarded two bronze medals.
The maths challenge is a 60-minute multiple choice competition aimed at the top mathematics students across the UK, up to Year 8.

Speaking about the Year 6 pupils, a spokesperson for the school said: "Both pupils have been in the school from Reception and are a testimony to the good teaching they have received and obviously their own perseverance and diligence.
"Well done everybody! The school is proud of these results and the high standards achieved."
