Three fundraisers took on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for people with disabilities in West Essex.
Jack Longman, Andy Sims and Ana Bocancea tackled the half marathon in London on Sunday, October 8, each with their own fundraising target.
Together, they managed to raise £2,300 for Accuro (Care Services) - a charity which helps people with disabilities in Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping.
Jack, founder of Longman Media Co, achieved a personal best of 1:56:59 on the day, while Accuro staff member Andy - who has run marathons previously - finished in 2:00:17.
Ana, who is community development worker and volunteers coordinator at Integration Support Services, completed the half marathon in an impressive 2:18:41, despite never taking on a running challenge of any kind before.
Speaking after the run, Ana said: "I finished it, I did it — 13 miles in two hours and 18 minutes — it is better than I could have ever imagined.
"I am so grateful to everyone, my family, my friends and everyone that believed in me.
"I am truly grateful for your support, I couldn’t do it without you!"
Accuro's fundraising manager Sue Fishpool added: "It was an absolute privilege to cheer on our charity runners at the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday and celebrate their achievements.

"The funds they have raised will make such a big difference and will help Accuro to continue to provide fun, inclusive and exciting activities for local people with a disability.

Accuro is a small charity which supports children, young people and adults, aiming to empower them to gain confidence, independence and self-esteem.
The charity provides services which aim to be fun, safe and inclusive, reducing social isolation by providing accessible social leisure opportunities.

The charity is looking for runners to take part in the Brighton Marathon in April 2024.
Entry is free, with a commitment to raise £600 for Accuro.
