A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Dunmow on suspicion of drugs offences and sending malicious communication.

The man was arrested by Essex Police officers at an address in Knights Way as part of an investigation into someone being racially abused.

While at the address officers also discovered a quantity of Class B drugs, which have been seized, and the man was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

He was taken to custody for questioning and has since been released on bail until January 18.
