Pupils from Great Dunmow Primary School dressed up as Pudsey the bear to raise money for Children in Need.
On Friday, November 17, pupils got their faces painted, dressed in spotty clothes and took part in fundraising activities.
The school held a Children in Need challenge for all staff, which was watched by the whole school - with an opportunity for the pupils to either throw a custard pie at a teacher or drench them with a Super Soaker.
All 422 pupils took part, and had a "fantastic" time while raising money for the charity.
Headteacher Kevin Watts said: "It's always great to get the school together and have a whole school event. and the pupils have told us that it's events like this that they really enjoy and are memorable."
