This weekend is the last chance for Uttlesford residents to sign up to recycle their Christmas tree with St Clare Hospice.
The hospice will collect and responsibly dispose of real spruce, fir and pine trees in exchange for a suggested £15 donation.
You can book your collection at just-helping.org.uk/register-tree.
Collections will take place between Thursday, January 11 and Saturday, January 13 in the following postcode areas: CB10 and CB11, CM5 and CM6, CM16, CM17, CM18, CM19, CM20, CM21, CM22, CM23 and CM24, EN9 and IG7, IG9 and IG10.
Registration closes at 11.59pm on Sunday, January 7.
The chippings from trees have multiple uses - including animal bedding, being turned into compost or used to make footpaths.
