Rayne Primary and Nursery School has received a £1,000 donation towards its summer fete.
Housebuilder Mulberry Homes, which is working on the Muberry Homes at Braintree development just over a mile away on Rayne Road, donated the money as part of its ongoing charity initiative.
This is the second year in a row Mulberry Homes has sponsored the fete, having donated £500 last year.
The summer fete was organised by the Rayne Parent Staff Association (PSA) and will take place from 1am to 4pm on Saturday (June 15), with a range of activities and games for children to enjoy.
Mulberry Homes' £1,000 donation will help fund the food stall at the fete.
