Dunmow town crier Jody Huizar has come in third place in a national competition.
Jody took part in the competition in Norfolk at the weekend, coming third behind a former runner up in world championships and a six times Great Britain champion - saying he was "more than happy to finish behind such exalted company".

Participants had to perform two cries of no less than 100 words and no more than 140 - one about their home town and one on a theme given by the organiser.
Town criers were marked for their accuracy, confidence, bearing, volume and clarity.
Jody said: "I came away having learnt a lot. I was so pleased to represent Great Dunmow and spread the word about our famous town."
