Forbesy Camps in Dunmow is running a holiday camp to get children outdoors and offline this summer.

The camps run out of Great Dunmow Primary School, and aim to improve physical and mental health - giving children the chance to exercise outdoors and socialise with others.

Children under eight can take part in the 'Cubs' camp, while over-eights can take part in 'Foxes'.

Each day of the camp has a different theme, and new children will receive special stickers and kindness awards to help them feel secure and make friends.

There are also two leadership courses available - a Fox Leader course for ages 13 to 15, and Fox Tail Campers for children aged nine to 12.

On the five-day course, Fox Leaders will learn about safeguarding, health and safety, fire safety, mini first aid and camp operations.

At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of youth leadership skills.

The Fox Tail Campers will get to learn skills through responsible leadership roles - including helping younger children with activities and running a tuck shop at lunchtime.

Forbesy Camps is currently running a giveaway competition - with winners receiving an 'all-singing, all-dancing' Forbesy party worth £450, plus five other prizes or a full day at camp worth £46.50.

The party can be fitted to the theme of the winner's choice, and will include popcorn and candyfloss machines, face painting and a visit from Forbesy the Fox.

Scott Forbes, who co-owns the business with his wife Kellie, will be on hand as a children's entertainer, along with three other members of staff.

Each attendee will receive a wristband, a balloon to take home and a personalised invitation - and there is an option to have a visit from Spider-man or Spider-woman.

To enter, you must be following Forbesy Camps on Facebook and Instagram, and find the hidden Forbesy the Fox in the posts and leave a comment saying how many you can find.

Those who comment the correct answer will be put into a draw of names - and whichever name is drawn will be the winner.
