A pupil from Felsted Primary School recently won double honours at the Rotary Young Environmentalist competition.
Pupil Nicole was presented with both the District and National Rotary Club Trophies and praised by the judges for creating a project which demonstrated how the packaging that can be found in the average school lunchbox can be reduced to almost zero.

The Rotary Club of Dunmow sponsored three additional national finalists - Matilda, Ankhan, and Evelyn - who were recognised for their photography, writing and artwork respectively.
Each received a certificate acknowledging that they were national finalists.
Awards were presented by a panel comprised of District Rotary youth competition coordinators Gloria Nichols and Jenny Versey, alongside president of Dunmow Rotary Club Barry Clark.
