St Clare Hospice is opening a new charity shop in Priors Green, Takeley this week.
Members of the public are invited to attend the grand opening at 10.30am on Friday, October 4.
Shaun Weston, managing director of British Offsite - part of the Weston Group - will be cutting the ribbon.
To celebrate the opening, customers will receive 10 per cent off purchases of pre-loved goods on the day, and there will also be cake and a selection of beverages on offer.
The new shop, which sells clothes, books, household objects and more, is the 10th in the chain of St Clare charity shops.
Takeley shop manager Louise Poulton said: "By choosing pre-loved items, you’re not only finding great deals but also contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
"Our new shop is more than just a place to do this- it’s a vibrant community hub where you can donate items, volunteer, and learn more about the vital work we do at St Clare Hospice.’
"With limited NHS funding, we rely on raising over £14,250 every day to keep the hospice running.
"This new shop not only provides an opportunity for people to purchase quality goods at low prices, but also plays a crucial role in helping us provide outstanding hospice care to those who need it.
"The support from the local community will be vital in making a difference."
St Clare is currently recruiting for volunteers to work in the new shop, which will be open seven days a week at Unit 3, Priors Green Local Centre.
Parking is available outside the shop, making it easier for customers to drop off donations.

St Clare Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with terminal or life-limiting illnesses across West Essex and the East Herts border.
The hospice's services are free of charge to those who need care, but the charity costs around £7.3 million a year to run.
With limited NHS funding, the charity needs to raise the majority of the money through donations and other voluntary sources.
