Moat House Care Home, in Great Easton, donated £500 to Easton Cricket Club as part of the club's 50th anniversary celebrations.
The money will go towards improving the club's facilities, starting with internal renovations in 2025.

These include kitchen upgrades and creating changing areas for women and youth players and adding indoor bathroom facilities.
George Byford, customer relations manager at Moat House Care Home, said: "We’re excited to sponsor our local cricket club to strengthen community ties and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for all ages."
Andy Barnard, captain of Easton Cricket Club, said: "Thanks to your generous donation and other local fundraising efforts, we’re now able to complete the exterior renovations of our pavilion by the end of this year."
