Croft House Care Home in Dunmow held a vintage Disney tea party for Silver Sunday - a national day of celebration about the elderly and for the elderly.
Staff and residents dressed up in costumes to remember the Disney characters which residents enjoyed during their childhoods.
They were joined by relatives, friends and guests from the neighbouring care home, Croft Court.

Mother-and-daughter duo Ana and Fia, who were previously contestants on Britain's Got Talent, entertained residents and guests with songs.
A raffle was drawn with prizes donated from local businesses, followed by a Mary Poppins tribute act.
The home's activity coordinator Angeline Wilson said: "The day was an absolute success, and has left many lovely lasting memories for us all."
