A collective of schools in the Dunmow area has launched a new teacher training programme.
Run by the Dunmow Excellence in Education Partnership (DEEP), the programme will help those who live in the area start or redirect their careers into primary teaching.
The Primary Initial Teacher Training programme launches in September 2025 and will run at schools in Dunmow, Great Easton, Felsted, Stebbing, Thaxted, Great Bardfield and Rodings.
An information evening about the course will take place from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, November 27 at Great Dunmow Primary School.
Attendees can find out about the course, speak to leaders, teachers and trainees from the partnership about their journey into teaching and arrange opportunities to visit the schools and gain experience.

Rodings Primary School headteacher Colin Raraty said: "DEEP is a diverse group of schools that strongly believe in the power of collaboration to improve the outcomes and life chances for all children.
"We believe in investing in the people employed throughout our schools so we are excited that we are able to take the next step and offer Initial Teacher Training opportunities.
"We love to grow our own talent, so trainees will experience dynamic and welcoming school settings, supported by experienced and passionate staff."
