Students at Takeley Primary School now have copies of a new book to read.
Perry and Leila Sunshine have donated copies of Grandad's Lost His Glasses by Daniel Adams.
The book was written as a fundraiser through a kickstarter scheme to help Edie Jackson get further treatment after she was diagnosed with a rare, incurable brain tumour called DIPG. Sadly Edie lost her life in January this year, age seven.
Her family have now created Edie' Kindness Project to support other children and families.
Perry said: "We as a family are continuing our support to the Jacksons and the fight against DIPG in Edie's name, in the hope that one day there is a cure and that families do not have to suffer all that this cruel disease brings to them."
The Sunshine's are also donating copies of the book to the Dolphin Ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
