A hospital charity director has thanked everyone who has donated funds to help them.
Lucy Thomas-Clayton of Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity said that money, legacy donations and gifts has had a positive impact on patients and staff.
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust includes Broomfield Hospital, Basildon University Hospital, and Southend University Hospital.
Lucy said: “We are so thankful for the on-going support and generosity of our local community in helping us overcome these extraordinary times.
“From our dependable and invaluable volunteers to our fantastic fundraisers and generous donors, we have been both humbled and inspired.”

iPads and Kindles have been provided at all three hospitals Intensive Care Units. Danielle Rix raised over £4,000 after her father Paul was cared for at Basildon Hospital after contracting Covid.
