There was celebration for Dunmow Rovers U11 Tigers - after they claimed victory in the Blackwater & Dengie Youth Football League Cup final.
Played in the sunshine at the Leslie Field Stadium at Burnham Ramblers Football Club, the Tigers defeated Tiptree Jobserve 2-0.
Both goals came in the second period.
Harry Tuck beat the keeper to the ball for number one while the second came from a corner, Oliver Noori's delivery swiftly headed into the net by Charlie Sleeman.
The team, managed by Chris Tilbury and assistant coach Jamie Smith, is comprised of Archer Bayford, Finley Durrant, Ben Francis, Jacob Haughey, Dominic Man, Riley Matthollie, Oliver Noori, Reuben Ramsden, Sam Rayner, Charlie Sleeman, Albert Tilbury and Harry Tuck.
Tilbury said: "This is a fantastic win for the entire team. Every single player worked really hard and put 100 per cent effort into the match.
"They wanted to win and that determination paid off. A great result for an outstanding team."
Smith added: “We played some exceptional football and defended very well with the goalkeeper making some excellent saves, helping us to keep a clean sheet."
